Lesson 19: The Gospel of John and Its Tradition

The Gospel of John stands apart from the three “synoptic” gospels as the most distinctive of the four canonical gospels. Its high view of Christ’s divinity, its opening focus on his pre-existence, its use of the symbol of the lamb of God, and its anti-gnostic elements make it unique.
